Kalafull is simply 'a positive mindset for Africa'

The name Kalafull is derived from the word colorful denoting the full spectrum of
Africa's best; Our ultimate objective is 'to change the negative perception of Africa for
the sake of business'

Kalafull was founded by Martin Mbuta, a Kenyan multi-talented fine artist, sculptor and
designer who spent several years thinking of how best he could make a difference in
the under-privileged African society. The Kalafull idea was a turning point, conceived
out of Martin's breath-taking discovery that Africa actually lacked nothing; it's a land of
absolute abundance but continued to lag owing to what he describes as the
'air of
negativity'.

Frustrated by the continued negative international media coverage on Africa, Martin
developed a passionate desire to 'do something to make a difference'. Back in August
2007, he began work on drafting and developing the concept he later called Kalafull,
symbolic of 'colorful' to reflect his idea of the real Africa he personally knows; To
highlight Africa's sense of abundance, he selected the primary color scheme (Red,
Yellow and Blue) through which any color on earth is possible, of course Africa, the
land of infinite possibilities. Kalafull is now a registered company under the laws of the
Republic of Kenya and actively working towards bringing other African interest groups
and friends to the table.

Kalafull is simply a positive mindset for Africa. It's an organization of like-minded
individuals and institutions bound by the profound truth that Africa has more to offer
than most media houses can comfortably confess. It's an initiative to bring to the
forefront the suppressed positive facts about Africa, aimed at creating renewed
appreciation of the African people, cultures, traditions and more importantly opening
doors to the vast and untapped opportunities in Africa, subsequently translating into an
explorable and sustainable environment for the business community.
